HELLO. MY NAME IS JUANITA RUYS AND I LOVE WRITING.

That is why I undertook an Honours degree and a PhD in English at the University of Sydney before spending the next 20 years there as an academic, writing books and scholarly articles on history. I also love teaching others how to write. I discovered early on that I enjoyed grant-writing, through which I have achieved millions of dollars in grants, and I have a background in commercial technical writing as well, having written manuals for heavy machinery. I now live in regional NSW and I’m turning my skills to the benefit of local businesses and community, Indigenous, and sporting groups.
